'X' Bracing
X-Bracing is used in buildings to provide additional bracing and strength. This can be done with steel cables, rods or even angle in severe cases.
CloseEave Strut
These steel members span the lenght of the building between frame lines on the roof at the eaves. They are pre-punched "C" shaped with a yield strength of 55,000psi and fabricated in 12, 14, and 16 gauge depending on the building loads. They are coated with a durable primer that will protect the steel from rust and corrosion.
CloseGirt
These steel members span the length of the building between frame lines on the walls. The wall panels are fastened to these members and provide the strength and framework of the walls. They are pre-punched "Z" shaped with a yield strength of 55,000psi and fabricated in 12, 14, and 16 gauge depending on the building loads. They are coated with a durable primer that will protect the steel from rust and corrosion.
ClosePortal Frames
Portal frames are used when you have the same situation as a wind column, but a wind column does not provide enough support. Portal frames are very heavy frames that connect two rigid frames and increase the lateral support greatly.

These steel members span the lenght of the building between frame lines on the roof. The roof panels are fastened to these members and provide the strenght and framework of the roof. All our girt & purlin clips come factory welded. As opposed to field bolted to save you time.
CloseWind columns
Wind columns are used when either standard X-Bracing is not enough or when door openings are in bays where X-Bracing would normally be. A wind column is basically an "I" beam that bolts to the rigid frame to add strength and rigidity.
