Fiberglass insulation

Steel buildings are among the strongest and most durable structures largely because of the remarkable properties of steel. Unfortunately, like most metals, steel is a very good conductor of heat. In hot weather, steel framing and sheeting rapidly transfer the sun's heat into a building, and in cold weather they rapidly transfer heat out. Steel buildings are also extremely susceptible to condensation, which can be a bigger problem than temperature. All these problems can be solved with the proper insulation and/or vapor barrier system.

Gutters & downspouts

Used to direct rainwater away from specific areas.

Jamb cover trim

Used on large openings to cover structural steel. An option with many companies but standard on ours.

Jamb flashing

Used to finish off all openings.

Louver vents

Are installed in the walls and provide cross ventillation. Louvers can be fixed or adjustable. Electric fans can be attached for added air movement.

Ridge caps

Come preformed to match the roof pitch.

Ridge vents

Come with 9" or 12" openings. With or without dampers. Can be installed back to back.

Skylights, wall lights

Fiberglass translucent panels provide inexpensive, yet effective lighting through the roof or walls. Each panel is 3' wide and come in various lengths to suit your needs. Insulated skylights are available as an option. Insulated skylights are available as well.
