Recently, I had bought out an existing greenhouse company near Pittsburgh, Pa., and I had to relocate the growing facilities. I needed a large 75' x 50' insulated steel building, & I needed it fast. I contacted several companies through the internet and explained what I needed, demensions, etc. so that they could all give me a bid. Now, I'm well aware, that the lowest bid does not necessarily mean the best quality steel building. But I had to start somewhere.

MBMI was the only company that could prove to me that their buildings were the best. I paid a fair price and I bought from MBMI for a few key reasons.
The buildings look very sharp, the manufacturing facility is AISC certified, they design their buildings for sustained wind loads as opposed to 3-second gusts and because after comparing several quotes from other reputable and legitimate companies...MBMI gave me the biggest bang for my buck (the most steel for the money).
I did my homework on metal buildings and metal building companies only to find out that 95% of them were brokers. MBMI does all of their own design, engineering & detailing "IN HOUSE" which meant that I was NOT dealing with a broker. I had questions and immediately I was put in touch with an MBMI engineer to get the answers. I liked that.
The building was delivered on time as promised. The building was detailed perfectly which led to it going together very easily and without any problems. I put the building together myself and I am ecstatic with the finished product. I have yet to see another building that looks as nice as an MBMI building.

When we (my father and my family) decided to build a home, we looked into different options for a separate garage. We eventually settled on a metal structure and out of all the companies that we evaluated, MBMI had more to offer at a competitive price.
Having never built a metal building before (or any other type of building) we were somewhat tentative on our decision to build it ourselves rather than hiring someone to do it for us. However, with technical support from MBMI and the engineered drawings that came with the building, it felt somewhat like an erector set.
All of the pieces and parts were provided to us in a timely fashion and those which were high volume (screws, bolts, nuts, washers, closures, etc.) were provided in ample supply so that a few that were lost or damaged during the raising of the building did not cause the project to come to a halt.
The people at MBMI were friendly and supportive throughout the process from the point of initial contact to the contract stage, through the design phase, delivery phase, and building phase.
The building itself is designed to fit a motorhome type vehicle. It is built in Central Florida where the 2004 hurricanes made a path of destruction. The building is designed to withstand hurricanes and because of the way it is built we have little doubt that if it is put to the test, it will.
